Rates & Insurance
In-network
I am in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina, including Blue Advantage, Blue Options, Blue Select, and Classic Blue. I am not in-network with BCBS Blue Home.
I am also in-network with Aetna, including the North Carolina State Health Plan.
Out-of-network
I am out-of-network for other plans, including all Medicare plans. Excluding Medicare plans, if your insurance provider is out-of-network, I can provide you with a superbill at the end of each month to submit to your insurance company. Depending on your specific insurance plan, you may have full or some coverage for services that are out-of-network.
Rates
For both in and out-of-network, I recommend calling the number for your insurance company on the back of your insurance card in order to check on fees, copays, and deductibles before the first session. Please see the FAQ page for more information.
Payment is expected at the time of service. You can upload a credit card to Simple Practice to keep on file to pay the copay or self-pay amount. I also accept cash or checks. Outpatient therapy sessions are 50 minutes long and cost $150 per session.
Cancellations
Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, I ask that you please let me know via text or email at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. If you notify me less than 24 hours before the appointment or miss your appointment without any notification, you will be required to pay the full session cost. Insurance companies will not reimburse for missed appointments. This cancellation policy is in effect for all instances except emergency situations, when it may be waived.
