Services

Outpatient therapy is a service provided in person or via telehealth. This type of therapy does not include crisis services or phone coaching between scheduled sessions. I am currently offering telehealth sessions through a secure video platform called Simple Practice.

I offer individual therapy for ages 18 and up. Therapy sessions are about 50 minutes long. I recommend new clients start with meeting weekly or biweekly. I work with many undergraduate and graduate students as well as professionals in the Triangle area.

I work well with people who may be struggling with any of the following:

-Trauma and PTSD

-Chronic Pain and Illness

-Functional Neurological Disorder (FND)

-Depression

-Anxiety

-Bipolar Disorder

-Substance Use and Addiction

-Life Transitions

-Relationship Changes

-Self Esteem

-Family Of Origin Work

-Developing Coping Skills

In my work, I use a person-centered and strength-based approach that draws from the following therapeutic modalities:

-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

-Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)

-Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

-Internal Family Systems (IFS)

-Motivational Interviewing (MI)
